Sometimes, the issue can be a faulty sensor or even a refrigerant leak. If you've already done the basics like cleaning the filters and checking the vents, it could be worth inspecting the coils or the fan. If none of that does the trick, it might be time for a pro to step in. I had a similar problem last year and reached out to Astera Services at https://www.asteraservice.com/ . They provide excellent appliance and HVAC installing and repairing services. They came out, checked everything from the compressor to the thermostat, and found the issue quickly. After they fixed it, my system was running better than ever and without any unexpected shutdowns. Definitely worth calling them if you're stuck!

Troubleshooting HVAC Systems

from Haus on 01/13/2025 11:49 PM

My HVAC system has been acting up lately—it's either not cooling enough or it's shutting off randomly, especially when we need it most. I've checked the thermostat, cleaned the filters, and made sure nothing's blocking the vents, but it's still not running smoothly. Does anyone have advice on what else could be causing this issue, or should I call in a professional at this point?
